Welcome!
I’m so glad you found my website. I am an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist with an office located in Glastonbury, CT. I love how the field of Marriage & Family Therapy focuses on systemic thinking and relational skills. Every relationship we have, big & small, can act as a mirror for our relationship with ourself. Whether you are seeking individual, couples, or family therapy, I am curious about how the relationships in your life have built you up, and the relationships you have struggled in. I am also curious about how your relationships with others have influenced your relationship with yourself, which is the most important one. I am a 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider®. In my experience, I see a major intersection between yoga and mental health and that is why I am so passionate about both. I believe you are an expert on yourself and you have everything you need within you to create a life you are proud of.
Individual Therapy
I believe building a healthy connection with yourself is the springboard to living a more fulfilling life and can enhance your ability to form deeper relationships. It is so important to do our own personal work, but I always wonder how much deeper we could go if we were able to share our growth with others? What would be different if we were able to be honest with our loved ones, share in our joy, or set healthy boundaries? I am passionate about helping people better understand themselves so that they can show up in their relationships more centered and grounded.
Relational Therapy
My training in Marriage & Family Therapy has allowed me to view relationships of any kind through a systemic lens. I am curious about your relationship dynamics, and how they influence you individually and your wider, relational system. In our lives, we are often taught how to be kind, polite, and agreeable. We are not often taught how to argue, overcome relational challenges, or advocate for ourselves. In couples, family, or relational therapy, we will process how your disagreements manifest and how we can strengthen your relationship. We can also process what un-coupling might look like, and how you can face break-ups and divorce with your family system.
